44285771 bids are invited for custom bid for services support services in quality control department for carrying out various work of miscellaneous nature at barauni refinery 1. contractor has to provide manpower support services at barauni refinery (br) quality control (qc) laboratory as per subsequently defined scope of work by providing total 14 numbers of contractual manpowers as per below categories: a. skilled category (09 nos.) b. semi skilled category (05 nos.). 2. role of supplied skilled category (09 nos.) manpower in br qc laboratory will be as follows: sampling and collection of finished products (lpg, m5, hsd, srn, sko, atf, fo, lshs, rpc, bitumen etc.) and crude oil samples in every shift from different tank farm area. 11. sampling and collection of water, gas and hydrocarbon samples from different units iii. collection of different process chemicals and ethanol from process chemical sampling area and material store. iv. proper sealing and shifting of retention samples of finished products and process chemicals with proper record. disposal of finished product retention samples & process chemicals periodically. in. handling of store materials (like jute, cotton, all kinds of chemicals, glasswares, lube oil, stationary items and others daily usable consumables), movement and change of lpg and utility cylinders including he, ar, n, o, h₂ & p 10. checking of cylinder pressure/leakage on day to day basis. we. collection of water sample from etp, btp and tps on daily basis and collection of unscheduled samples like lpg in odd hours, test run samples, check samples and other samples from different units and its movement in different section within qc laboratory as per testing requirement. will supervisor (1 out of 9 skilled manpower) for jobs like liaisoning with all manpower, rota preparation in consultation with eic, contract manpower manning, attendance record, gate pass, safety briefings, toolbox talk, inputs for payment related activities such as esi etc. apart from this, any other job assigned by eic and other officers of qc lab from time to time. viii. proper washing and drying of samples bottles & retention sample container especially for bs vi ms & hsd, atf. ix office related activities like bringing/delivering postal letters/files to various sections/departments. sample packing and arrange to send outside labs such as r&d lab, marketing terminal labs, etc. x. collection of samples and qc related documents from outside battery area. assistance during transportation of newly procure equipment, glassware, chemical etc. from central store to br qc laboratory. xi. movement of office file from ac to other department like material/finance/es/cc/any other department as and when required. xii. any other job assigned by eic and others officers of qc lab from time to time. 3. role of supplied semi skilled category (05 nos.) manpower in br qc laboratory will be as follows: movement of sample, chemicals, solutions, glassware, instruments parts etc. at various places within laboratory. the remove of sampling bottles and glass wares after testing in each shift, proper cleaning and drying of bottles and glass wares to ensure availability of cleaned glass bottles/glass wares for sampling and testing. iii. proper cleaning and maintenance of testing benches of different section in qc laboratory. iv cleaning of all test equipment, sitting places, sitting rooms, fume hoods, wash basins, sink, display boards, tpm gallery and almirah etc including glass doors and windows. in. filling of water/solvent in copper corrosion/kv/distillation bath, removal and cleaning of mcrt/kv vial and viscometers etc. we. providing jute/ tissue paper and dm water at different work bench. vii. transportation of chemicals, jute, sampling bottle, lpg/ utility cylinder and lab instruments from central store. proper arrangement gas cylinders in qc laboratorys gas cylinder room and collection of lpg cylinder from brcc store. preparation of rpc/cpc samples by grinding machine and sieving. cleaning of viscometer, cups etc. after bitumen testing. ix. support in various testing viz dew point measurement, moisture testing at unit site. x rearrangement of all chemicals, glasswares and other daily usable consumables at qc old and new storeroom. xi. cleaning of water storage tanks used for all five cfr engines (total five numbers). xii. any other job assigned by eic and other officers of qc lab from time to time. total quantity :...
