Construction, supply of M.S. self Propelled Barge / Jetty with following broad parameters 8 MtrS x S Mtrs x 0:8 Mtrs with minimum draft of suitable steel plates as per the design & drawing approved by Inland Water Transport. The Barge / Jetty should be made of Marine grade steel and should be built in welding construction by qualified, welder. It should have railing all around at approx one metre height for safety of passengers. The Jetty / Barge should comprise of Sal / Jamun wood .fender ail four sides and 4 Nos of Life buoys hanged on all four side of railings. This self propelled Jetty / Barge will be used for embarking of passenger from ship to H.D.P.E. Floating Gangway & Vice Versa. Minimum 4 or suitable Nos. of bollards of suitable size and strength should be provided on each corner of the Jetty / Barge. This self Propelled Jetty / Barge should carry minimum 25-30 persons. Half portion of the Jetty / Barge should comprise of canopy with seating arrangements and half portion of the Jetty / Barge should be open Speed of the Jetty / Barge should be arourid 5 five) knots.
